Wigan Athletic had a very successful season this year as they achieved promotion to the Championship. 

What's more, it was a drastic improvement on their 20th place finish the season prior and showed a lot of progress at the club.

For Leam Richardson, he will be now focusing on the summer transfer window and making the right additions to his side to ensure they are able to compete in the league above next season and retain their place in the Championship.
