Portsmouth have completed the signing of Tom Naylor, the club's official website has confirmed.

Naylor joins Portsmouth on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal with the club after leaving Burton Albion.

The Brewers had offered the versatile player a new deal but he has opted for a new challenge and he joins League One rivals Pompey ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Comfortable in either central midfield or central defence, the 26-year-old has plenty of experience in the Football League, having played 134 games for Burton since joining from Derby County in 2015.

Naylor netted 13 goals in total for Burton during his three year stay with the club.

Pompey fans expect Naylor to be the tough-tackling midfielder that they have been missing and he can also deputise at centre-half, although their current options of Matt Clarke, Christian Burgess and Jack Whatmough will be tough to replace.

Here are how Portsmouth fans reacted to Naylor's arrival.
