Izzy Brown is still waiting to make his first senior appearance for Leeds United, but the Chelsea loanee is edging closer to that landmark.
Leeds signed Brown whilst he was injured, with the Whites knowing that the 21-year-old was unlikely to be available until the mid-point of the Championship season.
Last Friday, Brown completed 45 minutes of an under-23 fixture, taking a significant step on his road to recovery.
Now, the attacker has confirmed to Adam Pope at BBC Leeds that he is looking to complete 90 minutes for the under-23s next week before he is then considered for first-team selection.
Marcelo Bielsa’s squad is stretched at the moment due to injuries, so this is an obvious boost for the Whites heading into the festive period.
