Queens Park Rangers have submitted a bid for exciting Ligue 2 winger, Yeni Ngbakoto, according to France Football.
The Metz wideman has been a hot topic in the second tier of French football with good performances last season. The tricky winger was able to tot up a total of 12 goals as well as adding an impressive 11 assists too. It is said that he has been a major reason for Metz’s success last season but he has expressed his desires to discover a new challenge.
QPR look like they have provided the 24-year-old with that challenge but they could be due to face a setback. Ngbakoto’s agent, Philippe Fiorentino, has told French media that the winger wants the chance to play in a top division – be it in “Ligue 1 or elsewhere.”
Therefore, QPR may need to offer the winger a favourable deal if he is to arrive at Loftus Road on a permanent basis.
Consequently, it has been reported by French media that the winger will wait for other offers to come in before assessing his next move. The preference of move to a top division side is certainly in Ngbakoto’s thoughts, however, a move to QPR could see him rapidly improve in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
QPR fans… would you like to see Ngbakoto move to Loftus Road? Is it a risk bringing in a relatively unknown winger or could it be a wise move? Let us know in the comment section below!
