Championship side Queens Park Rangers are set to miss out on Manchester City youngster Seko Fofana who has opted to move to Italian side Udinese instead, according to the French publication L’Equipe.
It has been established that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s Queens Park Rangers has been deploying a transfer strategy focusing on Belgium, Italy and France.
Manchester City’s young starlet Seko Fofana who had previously spent a season long loan spell at Fulham has spent the season out on loan, however this time in France at SC Bastia.
Seko Fofana was ever present in Bastia’s midfield making 32 appearances for the Ligue 1 side and showing consistency and maturity well beyond his age.
The 21-year-old midfielder is set to leave Manchester City this summer as his contract has run down and SC Bastia. Bordeaux and Queens Park Rangers have all stated their interest in signing Fofana.
However, it appears the Italian side Udinese is going to steal in and win the race for Fofana’s signature having made contact with Fofana and began to agree personal terms.
