Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has contacted former club Chelsea seeking aid to kick start his Loftus Road reign, starting with a loan swoop for talented young Blues defender Tomas Kalas, according to Get West London.

QPR currently sit 16th in the Sky Bet Championship table, and they still await their first win under new manager Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink – the R’s have failed to keep a clean sheet in five games.

The West London outfit have conceded 33 goals this season, and that will be a major concern for the managerm as he looks to revitalise his beleaguered QPR team.

Kalas is currently on loan at Middlesbrough, after impressing last season, he went back to the Riverside for a second spell, until may 2016.

However, he has recently found himself behind Emiliano Nsue at Teeside and is becoming restless with the lack of first team action.

The player can play at centre back or at right back and could be tempted to switch clubs with the lure of first team football, under Chelsea legend Hasselbaink.

Queens Park Rangers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has held talks with Chelsea about taking the right back for the remainder of the season.

Hasselbaink’s men have only managed to muster up two wins in their last ten league fixtures, which is not what fans of the club would have been expecting before the start of the 2015/16 campaign.

QPR fans have your say…..What do you think about Tomas Kalas coming to Loftus Road? Who else would you like to sign in January? How do you think Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s reign has gone so far? Leave your comments below!
