Queens Park Rangers keen on bringing former hero back to the club

According to The Daily Record, Queens Park Rangers are readying a pre-contract bid for former defender Clint Hill.

Clint Hill is currently playing for Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premier League and their manager Mark Warburton is keen to keep the veteran defender at Ibrox.

The 38-year-old left QPR upon expiry of his contract in the summer and joined the Scottish giants on a one year deal.

But now QPR are interested in bringing him back to the club.

Hill was a fans’ favourite at Loftus Road, where he made over 200 appearances in six years and captained the side.

The no-nonsense centre half has played 15 games for Rangers this season and Warburton might be prompted into offering him a contract sooner rather than later to fend off QPR’s interest.

The Record understands that the West London outfit will offer him the chance to re-join the club on a free this summer.

QPR fans – would you take Hill back at the club? Can he still perform at Championship level? Let us know in the comments below…
