Queens Park Rangers are being linked with Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch, according to reports via the Huddersfield Examiner.
The former Nottingham Forest defender has featured over 100 times for the West Yorkshire side, and he has become a fan favourite for his passionate performances.
However, the Welsh centre half is in the final year of his contract and with signs in the last few weeks of frustration, Lynch may look to move on.
It is reported that Joel Lynch is attracting interest from Queens Park Rangers after his impressive displays in a Huddersfield Town defence that has struggled this season have been particularly noticeable.
It appears Queens Park Rangers look willing to pay the valuation of £1 million which is the rumoured price tag of Joel Lynch.
Although over recent seasons Huddersfield have sold their best performers, Dean Hoyle, Huddersfield Town’s chairman has reiterated that Huddersfield aren’t under the financial pressures to sell and won’t sell if it is not in the best interests of the club.
It will be interesting to see if Dean Hoyle is true to his word and resists the temptation to cash in on the Welsh defender or if he can persuade Lynch to extend his stay.
Queens Park Rangers fans, what do you make of the news? Would you like to see Joel Lynch sign or are there better options out there? Is he good enough to cement a place in the starting line up?
