According to a report by the Daily Mirror, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's Queens Park Rangers are set to sign the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder John Bostock from OH-Leuven.

Since coming through Spurs' academy after signing from Crystal Palace, the 24-year old has failed to live up to his potential.

Following an unsuccessful spell in England, he then moved abroad first to Toronto FC before settling in Belgium.

During his spell in the Jupiter Pro League, the former England under-21 international was signed by current R's chief Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Royal Antwerp.

Now, it is claimed that the Dutch coach would like to bring him from the second tier in Belgium back to the English capital this summer.

Considering the former Chelsea striker's extensive knowledge of the Benelux region, it will be no surprise if he returns there to pick up more signings as he looks to transition from the side that got relegated from the Premier League to his own.

Major things will be expected of the West London outfit next season, as they bid to put a poor season back in the Championship last time out behind them.
