QPR have had a number of players that have failed to make a notable impact since signing for the club, but one player has impressed in recent years.

Back in the summer of 2016, the club confirmed the signing of Jordan Cousins from Charlton Athletic.

See how QPR fans reacted to Cousins' arrival at the club on Twitter below.

The club claimed that there was a number of fellow Championship clubs were interested in signing the highly-rated midfielder at the time.

He has started to show exactly why he had raving reviews about him in the first place and has been a key player for the London-based side this season.

The former Charlton midfielder struggled to adjust to life at Loftus Road in the first couple of years in his time with the club, having featured in just 37 matches across his first two years with QPR.

But Cousins has made a total of 30 appearances this season and became a regular for the Hoops under Steve McClaren in this year's campaign.

A dismal run of form has seen QPR slip down the Championship table at an alarming rate with relegation still not out of the question.

McClaren was sacked earlier this year following the poor run of results.

He'll be keen to stake a strong claim for retaining his starting spot for when McClaren's successor is appointed in the near future.

At the age of 25, Cousins has still got many years ahead of him, and QPR will be hoping that he can play a starring role in the future of the club for seasons to come.
