Birmingham City needed penalties to overcome League One Coventry City in their FA Cup fourth round replay at St. Andrew's last night.

In truth, Blues were fortunate to progress, as they scored in stoppage time to take the game to extra time and a Jeremie Bela cross looped in during the final minute of extra time to take it to penalties.

So, it's fair to say it was a dramatic evening and it was also a memorable one for a few Blues youngsters who were given a chance by Pep Clotet.

One of those was Caolan Boyd-Munce, with the midfielder replacing the injured Josh McEachran in the first half for what was just his second Birmingham appearance.

Like most of his teammates, Boyd-Munce took a while to get into the game but he will have been pleased with his display in the end as the team progressed.
