Initially founded in 1882, QPR are a side with a lot of history.

Having competed at the top level of football, QPR have won various league titles, the League Cup and have got to the final of an FA Cup.

After being relegated from the Premier League in the 2014-15 season, QPR have remained in the Championship ever since but they seem to be progressing under Mark Warburton.

As the season draws to a close they will be looking to try and get a top six finish in a tight race at the top.

For now though, we are going back in history to look at QPR's top 10 youngest ever goalscorer and see where they are now.

Goddard scored for QPR at 19 years, four months and 19 days old.

After leaving QPR, Goddard went on to play for West Ham United, Newcastle United, Derby County, Millwall and Ipswich Town before retiring in 1994.

At 62-years-old now, Goddard has been working as a football consultant and back at the start of the season he had a part to play in QPR's signing of Andre Dozzell.

Aramide Oteh scored for QPR when he was 19 years, four months and three days old.

After a series of loan spells away from Rangers, Oteh left the club permanently and signed for League Two Salford City on a short term contract in September 2021.

In February, after being released from Salford, the 23-year-old signed for Crawley Town.

Since signing for the club, he has made four appearances and scored a goal but hasn't made an appearance since the end of February due to an injury.

Nigel Quashie is just younger having scored for QPR at the age of 19 years, four months and two days.

After leaving QPR, Quashie played for a wide range of clubs including Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth and Southampton.

After a brief return to Rangers in 2010, he then moved to Iceland to finish his career retiring in 2015.

At 43-years-old now, Quashie runs a player development academy.

Gallen comes next scoring for QPR aged 18 years, 11 months and three days.

Gallen had two long spells with QPR and played with the club in the Premier League.

After leaving for a second time, the striker went on to play for Luton Town before dropping down to non-league finishing his career with Aylesbury United and retiring in 2012.

Since retiring he returned to QPR as an academy coach before moving on to be a scout at MK Dons.

In 2017, he was made first team coach at Dunstable Town but has since left the role.

He doesn't currently work in football but has appeared regularly on different podcasts and radio shows.

Richard Langley scored for QPR at 18 years, 10 months and eight days old.

Langley is another player who had two spells with QPR in his career but left for the second time in 2006.

Since then he played for Luton Town, Thai club Pattaya United, Hemel Hempstead and Staines Town departing the club in 2012.

Since then he has been a football agent and now at 42-years-old, is an FA Registered Intermediary.

Scott Sinclair scored for QPR at 18 years, seven months and 16 days old.

Sinclair was only ever at QPR on loan and after a series of loan spells followed, he finally made a permanent move to Swansea City in 2010.

He had a brief spell at Manchester City where he made 13 appearances before joining Aston Villa after a loan spell.

In 2016 he moved to Celtic where he made over 100 appearances and most recently he made the move back to Preston North End.

So far this season he has made 22 appearances for the Championship side.

Antonio German scored for QPR at 18 years, one month and 25 days old.

Since leaving QPR, he has played for a large number of teams but making rather small numbers of appearances for each team.

His career has seen him move to Scotland, India and Malaysia but currently he is at non-league Leatherhead and scored for his side in February.

Coming in third, Ray Jones was 17 years, 11 months and 25 days old when he scored for QPR.

Sadly, when at QPR Jones passed away in a car accident at just 18-years-old.

Following his death, QPR led tributes postponing their upcoming game and holding an open training session to raise money for charity instead.

QPR also made the decision to retire the number 31 shirt that Jones wore in memory of him.

The second youngest player to score for QPR is Angelo Balanta who was 17 years, seven months and 23 days old.

Following a series of loan spells away from QPR, Balanta signed for Bristol Rovers permanently in 2014 before moving on to Carlisle United and Boreham Wood.

In 2018, the 31-year-old signed for Dagenham and Redbridge where he has now made over 100 appearances.

This season, he has made 21 appearances and scored eight goals for his side showing his age is just a number.

At number one and the youngest player to ever score for QPR at 17 years, seven months and six days old is Shabazz Baidoo.

After making 28 appearances for QPR, he joined Dagenham and Redbridge and also went on to play for Lewes, Wealdstone and Biggleswade Town before retiring. He never made more appearances for a club than he did at QPR.

When he was at Biggleswade, he began work as a car trader as well.

He also has a music career with the stage name Terminator and has released three albums, most recently in 2019.

His music career has been fairly successful and he's even created his own genre of grime music called Darkside.
