With Queens Park Rangers having failed to pick up a victory in each of their last five Championship outings, it is fair to say that the west Londoner's positive start to the campaign has hit the buffers. 

Much of the club's success this term has been thanks to the goal scoring exploits of Messrs Jordan Hugill and Nahki Wells in the opening few months of the campaign, with both strikers having had strong purple patches at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

However both men have found it hard to hit the back of the net on a regular basis and it as a result the R's consistency in terms of results has waned somewhat.

One other player who will surely be keen to step up his game in the coming weeks is 21-year-old attacker Eberechi Eze, with the player having been one of Warburton's other kley performers so far.

The versatile forward has been in fine form for the west Londoners so far, registering seven goals and four assists in his first 19 Championship outings.

The youngster will certainly be even more driven to perform in the next few matches after rumours resurfaced of Premier League interest in acquiring his services, with The Sun reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are once again eyeing a move for the second division star.

Eze will surely see a move to Spurs as the next step in his fledgling career after a few solid seasons in west London so far, he could well be ready to take his game to the next level.

Tottenham have a good record for developing young players in recent years and as such a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could well catapult the 21-year-old into future contention for the England senior team, with Eze having already played for both the under-20s and under-21s so far.
