It's been a season to remember for Eberechi Eze, as he continues to steal the headlines whilst playing for Mark Warburton's QPR.

The Hoops are currently sat 13th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can make a late challenge for the play-off positions, which are just six points away for QPR, with nine games remaining in this year's campaign.

Eze has been key to their impressive performances this season, and has 12 goals and eight assists to his name in his 39 appearances in all competitions to date.

It appears as though Eze's inspired run of form this term hasn't gone unnoticed though, with West Ham being the latest club to register their interest in landing his signature according to Football Insider.

Speaking in an interview with FourFourTwo, Eze expressed his thoughts after training with Nigeria, despite being part of England's youth setup as well.

"I’m very happy to be part of England’s youth setup right now, but I enjoyed training with Nigeria.

"It’s a privilege to be involved with both, but I don’t want to make a decision yet – I just need to focus on QPR."

Eze went on to reveal what he is keen to improve on, despite having a hugely impressive league campaign with QPR so far this term.

"Defensively, I could be better. It’s the last thing I want to do, as an attacking player, but my positioning when we lose the ball would help with that.

"Top players today need to be well-rounded – attackers don’t get away with being passengers. I’ve realised that more than ever this season."

Due to recent events, QPR aren't due back in action until the 2nd May, when they take on promotion-chasing West Brom, although that scheduled return date could be pushed back further if the off-the-field crisis is to worsen in the coming weeks.

The Verdict:

He's got a number of difficult decisions to make heading into the summer.

Choosing which country you're planning on representing is a big decision for any player, and Eze will have to weigh up the pros and cons to each country.

Nigeria are more likely to be able to offer him regular minutes in their senior side compared to the increased competition in the England senior team in the future.

As well as this, he's likely to have to make a tough call on where he'll be playing his football next season, with the likes of Spurs and West Ham both interested in landing his signature.
