Queens Park Rangers will be eager to bounce back winning ways this weekend after failing to pick up three points in back-to-back home matches.

Last Tuesday saw them held at home to Reading in an entertaining 2-2 draw before the West London derby went the way of Brentford on Monday, with Thomas Frank's side running out 3-1 winners.

However, this weekend could well prove to be their toughest test yet as they travel to Yorkshire to face promotion favourites Leeds United at Elland Road.

Every since the Whites have been controlled by the iconic brain of Marcelo Bielsa, they have been on the rise, narrowly missing out on promotion last season and looking set to seriously challenge again.

They have lost at home just once so far this season and QPR will surely need to produce their best performance of the season if they want to come away with anything from this one.

However, in the build up, some Leeds team news emerged that will surely act as a confidence boost to those in the West Londoner's dressing room.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Bielsa revealed that they may be without as many as three first-team players; Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski and Barry Douglas.

Whilst none of the trio would be judged to be the Whites' star man, with such a thin first-team squad at their disposal, it will undoubtedly provide an area of weakness for the Rs to attack.

Not least in defence. Douglas and Alioski are the only two senior left-backs at Bielsa's disposal, meaning that Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ebere Eze could well find plenty of joy down the right-hand side of their attack throughout.

The pair swapped wings throughout their clash with Brentford, proving a handful for Rico Henry and Henrik Dalsgaard, so they will surely be looking forward to doing the same to whoever comes in on the left.

Sat in eighth heading into this one, they should not be intimidated either. A win against Brentford would have seen Mark Warburton's side leap above the Whites.

It may be a hard slog of the game, and with their current defensive issues, it is likely that the visitors wills concede. But it is possible that this latest news will provide the confidence boost to their first-team that is needed.
