Queens Park Rangers won their second promotion of recent history in 2013/14 via a play-off win at Wembley.

The Hoops were relegated the prior season, finishing bottom of the Premier League under Mark Hughes and then Harry Redknapp.

It was a terrible season for the R’s and many were unsure whether they would bounce straight back or fall into the abyss like many other relegated teams have done.

The Loftus Road club answered those questions in style in 2013/14 under Redknapp, finishing fourth in the league.

Striker Charlie Austin was the man who many talked about – he scored 20 goals in all competitions.

A promotion season always produces many memorable moments, but we have picked the top THREE of those.

Agreed, QPR fans? Let us know in the comments.

Without a doubt, the best moment was the very last one - Bobby Zamora’s late strike at Wembley to send QPR to the Premier League.

Redknapp’s side were far from their best on the day, but these games are won on fine margins – Derby failed to take their chances and R’s punished them.

After relegation, many fans speculated over whether QPR would be able to bounce back and regain their confidence in the lower division.

They did just that, and went 11 undefeated to start the season. While it is often said not to look at the table until after Christmas, solid foundations at the start are always key.

Behind the play-off final, the second best memorable moment was probably the play-off semi final.

Charlie Austin scored in the 96th minute at Loftus Road to send QPR to Wembley at the expense of Wigan Athletic, who held Hoops for a long period at 1-1, having took the lead through James Perch in the first half.
