QPR’s 18/19 play-off hopes could hinge on these summer deals being struck

Liam Lindsay

Lindsay played 42 games for Barnsley after earning a starting place early in the season. However, he was unable to stop the Tykes from going down on the final day after Bolton’s dramatic victory over Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old was excellent considering his young age because he was one of the top performers in a struggling side which was devoid of quality.

QPR can use Barnsley’s relegation to their advantage because it’s likely that he would favour a move to a Championship side, so he will be available for a bargain price. Centre-backs are needed due to the release of Nedum Onuoha and James Perch and he provides a long-term option.
