Derby County will be looking to end a three-game winless run when they travel to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium to take on QPR on Tuesday evening.

The Rams were forced to settle for a point against Fulham in their last match, and they'll be well-aware of the threat that the Hoops will pose to them.

QPR are unbeaten in their last three games, and come into this one off the back of a hard-fought 0-0 draw against promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday.

Football League World will be reporting live from the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium for the Tuesday evening kick-off at 7:45pm, so we’ve gathered everything you need to know in the build-up to this one.

In the last match between these two sides, both sides shared the points in an entertaining 1-1 draw at Pride Park. Martyn Waghorn scored the opener after 23 minutes, before Eberechi Eze netted the equaliser from the penalty spot deep into first-half stoppage time.

Eze is leading the way when it comes to goals for QPR, and he's currently the club's top goalscorer with 11 goals to his name in all competitions. Jordan Hugill is closely following behind with ten goals, whilst Bright Osayi-Samuel will be a constant threat to the Derby defence with his pace and trickery and already has five goals to his name.

Waghorn is Derby's top goalscorer heading into this one with 11 goals, whilst Christ Martin and Tom Lawrence are level in second-place with seven goals each for Phillip Cocu's side.

It's QPR that have scored more goals this season with 51 altogether, and Phillip Cocu will know that there is room for improvement with his side, who only have 42 goals so far in this year's campaign.

But it's the Rams that edge it when it comes to goals conceded. Derby have conceded 46 goals so far this season, whilst Mark Warburton's men have already conceded 58, so it's certainly going to be a fascinating encounter between the two sides on Tuesday evening.

The hoops edge out Derby in terms of average possession this season with 52.8%, compared to Derby's 51.7%, although that is improving since the introduction of Wayne Rooney to the Rams team since the turn of the year.

QPR are currently sat 15th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can pick up a positive run of results to get their season back on track at the earliest of opportunities.

Whilst Derby are 13th in the second-tier standings, and are 11 points adrift of the play-off positions, which might not be out of reach just yet, with 12 games remaining of this year's campaign.

Mark Warburton has no injury concerns heading into this game, which means that he could name the same side which took a point away from Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

But the Rams have injuries to key players, which will frustrate supporters. Duane Holmes hasn't featured since Derby's game against Huddersfield Town as he's picked up a ankle injury, that Cocu has already stated will keep him out of action for several weeks.

Tom Huddlestone remains out with a hamstring problem, whilst Krystian Bielik remains a long-term absentee for Phillip Cocu's side with a knee injury.

So, it's set to be a closely-fought battle between the two sides on Tuesday evening, as they both look to keep their faint and somewhat distant play-off hopes alive with a positive result.
