According to HITC Sport, a trio of English Football League clubs are tracking Aberdeen star Peter Pawlett.

Peter Pawlett is the subject of interest from Championship duo Queens Park Rangers and Burton Albion, as well as League One promotion hopefuls Bolton Wanderers.

The 26-year-old is out of contract with Aberdeen at the end of the 2016/17 campaign and he will become available on a free if he doesn't agree fresh terms with the Scottish Premiership outfit.

The attacking midfielder, who can play in the middle or on either wing, has been with Aberdeen since he was very young and he made his senior debut at Pittodrie in 2009.

The former Scotland under-21 international has spent his whole career with Aberdeen - aside from a brief loan spell at St Johnstone - but he could leave this summer.

Burton, Bolton and QPR are lining up pre-contract moves for Pawlett, who has been limited to just five starts this season.
