Omeruo has vast experience in football having spent two years in Holland with ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie and six months playing with Middlesbrough in the Championship.

The defender also has 17 caps for his nation and featured in the World Cup in Brazil, receiving credit and praise for his performances during the tournament.

It is thought that Chelsea are wanting to send the defender out on loan again but to a Premier League side and Hull were originally favourites.

But now it seems QPR could be set to swoop for the 20-year old in a loan deal where he is guaranteed first-team football.

Despite opposing interest from the Premier League, Middelsbrough are hopeful of securing his signature yet again but the do face a tough job to do so.
