A handful of Queens Park Rangers players face late fitness tests ahead of the Hoops' clash with Luton Town this Friday night in the Sky Bet Championship.

Rangers have had a good campaign so far in the second tier and now the final international break of the calendar year is out of the way, full focus will be on building momentum ahead of a hectic period of fixtures.

Luton are up next to visit W12 tomorrow night, then, and the Hoops are currently waiting on a number of players to see if they are going to be available or not for selection.

West London Sport reveals that Lyndon Dykes will be assessed as well as Ilias Chair, with the latter only returning from international duty on Wednesday night.

Moses Odubajo and Andre Gray will also be looked at with them carrying a hamstring and knee injury respectively.

Seny Dieng, meanwhile, will also be checked over after his isolation period from covid came to an end earlier this week.

The Verdict

A few selection calls await Mark Warburton ahead of tomorrow night and he'll bound to be thinking about workloads for players ahead of this game with the Hatters.

Finding a balance between naming a strong side and giving players rest ahead of a busy period of matches is going to be key to his final calls and the hope will be that whatever side he names will be good enough to get three points tomorrow evening.
