Queens Park Rangers showed their quality in full force on Wednesday night after completing a mammoth comeback.
The Hoops found themselves 2-0 down before half-time in the Championship clash with Millwall after a below-par performance looked like it was going to prove costly.
Thankfully for Mark Warburton his side clicked into gear for a memorable second half.
Charlie Austin got the comeback underway, before Stefan Johansen drew the game level midway through the second period.
A draw would have been a decent result given where QPR stood at the break but a powerful header from Jordy de Wijs in the 86th minute saw the Hoops take all three points.

While a push for the play-offs isn’t on the cards, that win was enough to put the West London club back into the half of the table.
One man who has inspired QPR’s recent form is Charlie Austin who couldn’t hide his delight after the powerful defender’s late winner.

Taking to social media, Austin said: “What a comeback from the lads.
“First half (we were) nowhere near it but great character shown from the lads – Jordy de Wijs what a header, the man mountain!”
Queens Park Rangers put in quite a performance in the second half.
The game looked like it was done and dusted at the break but the ‘never say die’ attitude of the Hoops showed in full force in the second period.
Supporters will be praying that the club can keep the likes of Charlie Austin, Stefan Johansen and Jordy de Wijs this summer as they’ve certainly showed their worth in recent months.
