QPR are looking in good shape right now and, though there is a long long way to go this season, manager Ian Holloway is well versed in converting these starts into promotion.

Of course, Rs fans daren't mention the 'P' word right now for fear of jinxing their club, especially after last season's drab campaign, but there is some really nice football being played at Loftus Road right now.

Indeed, the men from west London look like they could give anyone a game in the second tier right now with them well in the mix for the play-offs ahead of their game with Millwall tonight.

For sure, then, they'll be looking to win that and Holloway will be eager to see Luke Freeman continue his fine form that he is displaying right now.

The midfielder is really bossing games at the moment and scored most recently at the weekend as they beat Ipswich 2-1 with an impressive performance.

He's in a fine habit of contributing goals, too, as per Goodbrand Stats on Twitter:

This, then, just goes to highlight how well Freeman is playing right now and he's bound to keep his place in the side nailed down if he keeps putting in performances like the one at the weekend.

The Verdict

Freeman might not be getting as much attention as some of the other big names in the Championship right now but he certainly deserves more recognition for his form.

His goal at the weekend showcased all his talents as he worked some space before lashing home and he could be one of the stars to watch for this campaign.
