Josh Windass is a player in demand this summer but it seems quite possible that he won't be heading to Queens Park Rangers at the moment.

The Hoops have had a productive start to the window this summer with the likes of Charlie Austin and Sam Field arriving, whilst there seems a good chance that more arrivals will follow before the market is shut.

That in mind, the R's are being linked with more players but Windass, according to West London Sport, is not a priority at the moment.

The Sheffield Wednesday ace is being linked with a host of clubs after he impressed last season in the Championship, though the Owls ultimately dropped down into the third tier at the end of the campaign.

Indeed, QPR, as per the report, hold an interest in the player but do not currently have him down as a transfer priority, and so that could allow one of his other potential suitors to steal in and get him.

The Verdict

QPR have had a good window so far and though there are still a few areas that need additions this summer, few can be disheartened by the work done up until now.

Windass may well not arrive in west London this summer, but it's unlikely that Rangers' work is done in the transfer market as a whole.
