Consistency is certainly the biggest problem Queens Park Rangers are facing this season as they currently sit in 14th place in the table.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has plenty of talent in his side, but the West London outfit are really lacking that little something to help them push for a place in the top six.

The Championship is more competitive than ever this season and QPR are among a host of clubs hoping to achieve a play-off spot.

Arsenal are a side that have a number of hugely talented youngsters at the club who are ready to make themselves known and get some experience to help them push into the Arsenal first team one day. A team like QPR, with a good blend of experience and youth as well as being based in the capital, would be the perfect club for a player to make their mark.

With the January window fast approaching, Hasselbaink might be thinking of loan targets and Arsenal could have a few options for him to consider.

Here are two Arsenal players that QPR should look to poach in the January transfer window...

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

The Gunners are blessed with a number of talented wingers such as Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez so it may take an eye-catching loan spell for Reine-Adelaide to convince Arsene Wenger that he is ready to be involved with the first team week in week out.

The 18-year-old's attributes, such as his skill and pace, will cause teams in the Championship problems and he could be the perfect fit for QPR.

Chuba Akpom

Akpom is slightly more advanced in his development compared to Reine-Adelaide. The 21-year-old striker has already enjoyed loan spells at clubs such as Nottingham Forest and most recently Hull City, where he helped them achieve promotion to the Premier League last season.

Akpom knows where the net is and he will certainly score goals provided he gets the opportunities.

QPR, a side without a prolific goalscorer, could really benefit by having Akpom in their attacking arsenal, whilst also giving him another chance to prove to Arsene Wenger that he is ready to feature more for the Gunners.
