According to Get West London, Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Tammy Abraham on-loan from London rivals, Chelsea, this summer.

Abraham spent the 2016/17 campaign on-loan in the Sky Bet Championship with Bristol City, where he scored 26 goals across all competitions, including 23 in the league for the Robins.

However, this summer, Abraham is returning to Stamford Bridge, but is likely to be sent out on-loan again in the coming months, with first-team opportunities with Chelsea set to be limited.

A number of top-flight clubs are said to be interested in securing the 19-year old’s signature, including Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion, who both achieved promotion to the Premier League last season.

Chelsea are reportedly keen for Abraham to move to a Premier League club, to gain some experience in the top-flight before getting a chance at Stamford Bridge.

Despite this, Ian Holloway is keen to bring Abraham to Loftus Road this summer, and is on the lookout for a striker to bolster QPR’s attacking options in the Championship next season.

Idrissa Sylla top scored for The Hoops last season with ten goals, 13 less than Abraham managed for Bristol City in the Championship.
