Chris Ramsey's Queens Park Rangers have joined the race for Swindon Town winger Nathan Byrne, according to London 24.

Byrne is a target for a number of clubs

Burnley and Huddersfield have been previously been linked with former Tottenham trainee and Robins chairman Lee Power has confirmed that the three clubs have an interest.

QPR have already bought two players from Swindon this summer and that may help them in negotiations.

Ben Gladwin and Massimo Luongo have joined Rangers this summer and Ramsey will be hoping that they can convince their former team mate to move to Loftus Road.

Swindon are said to be willing to accept a bid of around £1 million for Byrne, who has played 96 times for the club, as well as a loan spell in 2013 when he played nine games - he has also scored 11 goals in his three seasons at the club.

The Championship trio are expected to fight it out for the winger and hope to complete a deal before the deadline - and it is no surprise to see so much interest in the 23-year-old midfielder, who has excelled during his time at the County Ground.
