Queens Park Rangers could be set to make a move for Peteborough striker Jack Marriott, and could include striker Conor Washington as part of the deal, according to Get West London.

The Norther Ireland striker has struggled to adapt to life in the Championship following his big money move to the R's from the Posh a few seasons back, and could well be used as a bargaining chip by manager Ian Holloway as he looks to bring in the impressive Marriott.

Holloway is a fan of the highly-rated Marriott, who has been showing impressive form this season, and a move up the Championship appears to be the next logical move in his career if he is to continue his progress.

However, QPR could have a fight on their hands, with both Sunderland and Aston Villa also reportedly interested in signing the Peterborough man before the end of the January transfer window.

Any move is likely to need to be given the all clear by Peterborough, who will be keen to hang on to one of their top talents, and make sure they get something worthwhile in return should the decide to sell.

QPR fans, what do you think? Would this deal work? Let us know in the comments!
