It has not been a good start to the Championship season for Queens Park Rangers, in fact, it has been absolutely awful.

Three defeats from three in the league leave Steve McClaren's side firmly rooted to the foot of the table on zero points alongside Reading.

The R's thumping 7-1 thrashing by West Brom at the weekend means they are comfortably below the Royals, however, and is the latest chapter in what has been a dismal few months for the club.

Here is the latest round of the news emerging from Loftus Road.

Fans fume

QPR's fans were left seething at the state of their club after the heavy defeat to the Baggies.

Here is a selection of the most intense reactions to the defeat:

Transfer latest

With an embargo awaiting them in January, the club will be itching to get as many new faces into the club as they can to help them for the rest of the season.

They will have to do it in the loan market only, however, which could prove tricky when it comes to bringing in experience.

One man the club have been linked with by the Daily Star, via Sky Sports, is Burnley striker Nahki Wells who McClaren is keen to bring in until January.

Their current options are Conor Washington, Matt Smith and Idrissa Sylla who have all struggled to consistently find the net.

Chairman changes

It was announced last week that the club's co-chairmen Tony Fernandes and Ruben Gnalalingham had stepped down from the position to allow vice chairmen Amit Bhatia to step up to the plate.

Gnalalingham will take over as the club's vice chairman from now on.
