QPR are reportedly willing to listen to offers from Bristol City for goalkeeper, Joe Lumley according to London Football News.

Bristol Live had previously claimed that the Robins were in the market for a shot-stopper ahead of a potential summer move, and had Lumley as one of their targets when the transfer window reopens.

The R's goalkeeper has made 42 appearances for the club this season and has been in impressive form, having kept 14 clean sheets in total, which is the fourth highest in the Championship.

Lee Johnson has had his fair share of goalkeepers at the club this season, but it's looking likely that Frank Fielding may have played his last game for the club, as he is currently out injured.

Young shot-stopper, Max O'Leary was between the sticks for Bristol City in recent weeks and has been hugely impressive, but the Bristol City boss evidently wants a more established goalkeeper for next year's campaign.

Financial Fair Play rules look likely to force QPR's hand over any potential transfer for Lumley, although it remains to be seen as to whether a formal bid for his services will be submitted by the play-off chasing Robins.

The Verdict:

It's a frustrating situation for QPR.

Lumley has been impressive this season and has won the Hoops some vital points which could prove to be the difference between them staying afloat in the Championship.

But their financial restraints are seemingly going to force their hand with this potential deal.
