Bradford City have completed the signing of Queens Park Rangers striker Aramide Oteh on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old has spent time on loan at Walsall last season, where he scored one goal in 13 appearances in League One.

Oteh has made eleven senior appearances for QPR so far in his career, scoring two goals - although the majority of his Championship appearances have been as a substitute.

The striker is yet to feature for QPR this season, although he did appear on the bench for the Carabao Cup game against Bristol City last month.

QPR boss Mark Warburton was prepared to allow the player to leave on loan, in order for him to experience regualr first-team football.

Bradford are currently 12th in League Two after taking eight points from their opening six games, but they have lost their last two matches.

Oteh could make his debut for his new club against Northampton Town in League Two at the weekend.

The Verdict

This could be a decent signing for Bradford. Oteh is a decent player and the fact that he's already made a few senior appearances for QPR shows that they rate him highly for the future.

He probably wasn't going to get much of a chance at Loftus Road this season though, so sending him out on loan will allow him to experience regular first-team football, which is very important for his development.

The striker did reasonably well while on loan at Walsall in League One last season, so he should be able to make an impact in League Two for Bradford.
