QPR suffered defeat to Preston last time out and have very little to play for in the last three Championship games of the season.

Whilst that means many will be looking forward to the summer and the changes it will bring, it shouldn't take away from what a good job Ian Holloway has done this season, easily keeping the team from the relegation zone and introducing a lot of talented youngsters.

Fans can finally relate to the R's side they are watching and they will be quietly optimistic that if they can keep hold of some of the more talented players, they could have an exciting campaign next season.

However, the financial restrictions the club are under won't help and Holloway will have to shift players out if he wants to bring some in.

Here we look at three players who could be off this summer...

The striker scored two goals against Sheffield Wednesday last week to remind fans of the quality that he does have on his day, however those days are far too infrequent.

Injuries haven't helped but QPR now have a lot of young, exciting prospects coming through in the forward positions and they may sanction Sylla's sale to bring funds in.

He will need a strong end to the season to convince Holloway he should stay in his plans.

Cousins has failed to kick on at QPR this season, playing just 14 games and he would've hoped and expected to have made more of an impact.

His versatility is a positive and at 24-years old he still has a lot of time to improve but the manager may be looking for better in the summer. Again, the last few games could be crucial as it looks as though he'll get the chance to play.

The Northern Ireland striker has fallen down the pecking order at Loftus Road, failing to make the squad in recent matches.

That, combined with just six goals in over 30 appearances this season suggests his time at the club may be coming to an end.

Despite showing promise at certain times, he hasn't kicked on with Holloway having preferred options up front already at the club.
