QPR are the only side in the Championship not to have scored a goal and whilst it might not be a concern after one game, it does tell a story.

Against Preston they looked out of ideas from the off, simply soaking up pressure and not taking the game to their opponents at all. A summer in which they've signed only a defender won't help either, recruitment has been limited and  the young squad smells a little bit stale.

They've got some wonderful young talent at Loftus Road, but how Steve McClaren blends them with the current players and how much he thins down the current squad depends on the next couple of days.

If he generates some cash, he might be able to add a new face or two. Even clearing a wage out might help.

FLW look at two players McClaren should look to move out before 5pm on Thursday.

The set up and starting XI told us everything we needed to know about QPR this season; one up top and Idrissa Sylla on the bench.

With that in mind, McClaren should cash in on the 27-year old with immediate effect. If he's not going to play there's no benefit in having him on the wage bill.

Shift him now, whilst he's not tainted by another season in the stiffs.

The young Finn has barely kicked a ball for QPR since joining in 2014. He's one of the young players that has been left by the wayside as the others push on and his time at Loftus Road is surely soon to be over.

He's young and could do a job in League One or even abroad, but being in the stands every week is helping nobody at QPR.
