QPR will be hoping they can pick up where they left off in the Championship when EFL fixtures are to get back underway.

The Hoops had been in an impressive run of form in recent weeks under the guidance of Mark Warburton, with QPR being unbeaten in their last six matches.

That positive run of results has seen QPR move up to 13th in the second tier standings, as well as being just six points adrift of the play-off places heading into the final nine games of this season.

However, their momentum was brought to an abrupt halt, with the EFL recently announcing that fixtures won't get back underway until it is deemed safe to do so amid the off-the-field crisis.

One player that has certainly played his part in their upturn in form is Bright Osayi-Samuel, who has established himself as a regular for the Hoops this term.

The winger has made 32 appearances in total for Warburton's side, and has six goals and eight assists to his name across all competitions for the play-off chasing Hoops.

Osayi-Samuel took to Twitter to issue his thoughts over the break from competitive action, and expressed his eagerness to return, by posting a montage of some of his highlights from this year's campaign.

The Verdict:

He'll be hoping to pick up where he left off for the Hoops.

Osayi-Samuel has been a delight to watch this season for QPR, and he'll be key to any chance they have of mounting a late charge for the play-off places.

I think he speaks for both players and supporters in saying that they can't wait to be back, as it's a frustrating time to be involved in football.

But the health of the nation is the most important thing at the moment, and when football returns, it'll certainly be worth the wait.
