QPR attacking midfielder Tjaronn Chery could be on his way out of Loftus Road to join Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to Get West London.

Tjaronn Chery

The Dutchman only moved to the Championship side in the summer, but could be on his way out again after some indifferent performances.

Chery arrived in England after a very successful spell in the Eredivisie, scoring 15 goals for Groningen.

So far this campaign he has four goals in 20 Championship appearances, but may have played his last game in a QPR shirt.

Hasselbaink will be hopeful that any money received through the sale of Chery will be reinvested in the squad over the next couple of days.

It is believed that the R's are still interesting in doing business before the window shuts, and the sale of Chery may facilitate that.

QPR currently sit 13th in the Championship after an underwhelming season so far.

Hasselbaink does appear to be turning a corner after a difficult start as boss at Loftus Road, and he will hope he can steer the side as far as up the table as possible as a platform to compete for promotion next campaign.
