Queens Park Rangers defender Nedum Onuoha has revealed in a report by Get West London that no talks have taken place over a new contract at Loftus Road.

The former Manchester City defender made his 200th appearance for the club yesterday as the R's lost out to table toppers Wolves, but the defender has now moved into the final six months of his contract, and has revealed the club have so far not breached the discussion over a contract with Onuoha.

"No, there's nothing whatsover. We're going game by game. Whatever the club decide to do is up to them. We're committed and under contract for the rest of the season, we're going to knuckle down and see what happens.” the defender said.

The key R's defender will be hoping to seal his future before the season is out though, and with his performances for the R's, there is bound to be plenty of interest in the experienced campaigner if his current club fail to offer him any sort of contract.

Manager Ian Holloway will no doubt want to keep hold of his star defender though, and he will be keen to influence his board to tie down Onuoha to a new deal if possible.
