QPR striker, Nahki Wells, has stated via West London Sport that he 'wouldn't hesitate one bit' if it was possible to make his loan move from Burnley permanent.

The forward spent last season on loan at the R's, before rejoining ahead of the new campaign after a successful period first time round.

Wells has become a fan favourite at the club and will be hoping that his experience in the Championship can help mount a promotion challenge for Mark Warburton's side this season.

Having already scored six goals so far in the current campaign, his impressive form has started talks about his future once more, and the 29-year-old has expressed his desire to stay at the R's permanently if he could.

Speaking to West London Sport, Wells said: “That’s all stuff that’s beyond any of my decision-making of course.

“But I think the club, the fans, the board – everyone knows what my decision would be. I love it here, it feels like home to me.

“Of course football is a business and there’s a lot more that goes into it than just me saying I’d like to stay here. But if it was possible I wouldn’t hesitate one bit.”

The Verdict

Since joining QPR, Wells has been a standout player and seems to have got back that Championship form that once made him an impossible striker to deal with in this division.

Since Warburton has come in, he seems to have been given a new lease of life and looks back to enjoying his football after a couple of hard years.

It's no surprise he wants to stay permanently and I can see him doing that after a good spell with the club in recent times, I'm sure Burnley won't stand in his way.
