According to a report from the Hull Daily Mail, via West London Sport, the R's are looking to add some firepower to their ranks, and have lined up a move for the Brighton man on what would be a loan deal.

Hemed has found himself dropped down the pecking order at The AMEX following a big summer of recruitment by manager Chris Hughton, and now QPR manager Steve McLaren is hoping to snap up the big striker as he looks to add some goals to his squad.

Hemed was a key member of the Brighton squad which won promotion to the Premier League, and played a part coming off the bench in the main last term, with Glenn Murray shouldering much of the responsibility up top in the main.

However, with a host of summer signings for the Seagulls, Hemed could well be keen on a move to find regular first team footall, and QPR would offer him the chance to do just that.

The R's take on Sheffield United this afternoon with the Blades having lost their opening two games of the season.

QPR fans, what do you think? Would Hemed be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
