Queens Park Rangers could make a move for West Ham United and former Preston striker Jordan Hugill.

That is, according to the respected Sun journalist Alan Nixon, who claims that the R's at looking at making a move for Hugill, who has failed to make any sort of impression since making a move to the Hammers.

The 26-year-old only completed his move to the London Stadium in January of this year, but he has failed to make any sort of impact on the first team with the Hammers, making only three appearances.

A loan move this summer could well be likely for Hugill, and QPR are hoping to use the advantage of being in London as well as offering regular first team football as something that can tempt the former Preston man to make the move to Loftus Road.

Hugill got his Premier League move after a run of impressive form for Preston caught the eye of plenty of onlooking scouts and coaches. However, he has since failed to really be given many chances by former manager David Moyes, and now it would appear new man in charge Manuel Pellegrini is also not considering Hugill a major part of his plans.

QPR fans, what do you make of this? Would Hugill be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts!
