According to The Daily Mail, QPR are looking at non-league star Abobaker Eisa who currently plies his trade with Wealdstone.

The 21-year-old winger has bagged 10 goals so far this season and looks as though he could play further up the divisions with some real pace and athleticism out wide.

The Rs are not the only side interested in him either, according to the report, with the likes of Charlton Athletic also credited with an interest in the player.

QPR, of course, need to find some more consistency in their side before they can start challenging at the sharp end.

On their day, especially at Loftus Road, they can beat anyone but they have been too poor too often at times as well and their away form has been abysmal.

Ian Holloway is clearly looking for ways he can address that without causing the club anymore financial issues as the FFP saga rumbles on, then, and Eisa would certainly be a cheaper option than a star in the Football League.

It would be a risk, of course, but often non-league stars can make it big in the Championship and that is what Rs fans will want to see if they do seal this move.

The Verdict

The Rs have had a pretty average campaign with them needing more consistency.

This rumour suggests Holloway wants more attacking options in his squad, then, and so let's see if he can seal a deal for the young winger.
