QPR join host of Championship clubs interested in signing former Arsenal striker

Championship side QPR are interested in signing non-league striker Fejiri Okenabirhie, according to a report in Get West London via a story by the Sun.

The 22-year-old has been in excellent form this season for Dagenham and Redbridge, knocking in ten goals so far in an impressive campaign which has seen the former Arsenal youngster find his feet, playing both out wide and up front.

However, his form appears to have attracted the interest of a whole host of watching Championship clubs, including the likes of Bristol City and Norwich, and now it appears QPR and manager Ian Holloway are the latest party to register an interest in the youngster.

Okenabirhie, who began his career with Arsenal but ultimately did not make the grade, made a big impression for England C recently, smashing in a hat trick to turn heads and draw even more attention to the form and potential of Okenabirhie.

The report claims any move for the striker will come at a cost, with Dagneham valuing their star man at around the £250,000 mark, however, it is also believed a cut price deal could be on the table, oweing to financial problems with the non-league club.

QPR fans, know much of the player? Good signing? Let us know!
