Queens Park Rangers have had an inconsistent season so far and find themselves sitting in 16th place in the Championship table.

Mark Warburton has a squad that varies in age, though the majority of the players that have starred for the side this season have been younger players breaking into the first-team.

One player who has come through and shone for the R's this season is winger Bright Osayi-Samuel. He's been terrific throughout and has been a danger on the flank for QPR.

In January it was reported by Football Insider that Premier League side Southampton were thought to be interested in the midfielder. Attracting interest from top division sides shows the amount of potential that the player has, as he joins Eberechi Eze and Ilias Chair as some of QPR's finest young talents.

It's vital for the R's to keep Osayi-Samuel if they want to have a better season next term. If he departs in the summer months, then it may be a sign of things to come for QPR supporters. If you want to fight in the top half of the Championship table, it's vital that you keep your best players.

After his development this season, the youngster is showing signs that he is only going to keep getting better. If they can keep him for the next campaign, then there's potential that the R's could have one of the best players in the division playing for them.

If the club has any ambition of getting back to the Premier League, then players like Osayi-Samuel need to be kept in West London.
