It’s that point in the season again where players are finding out if they have been nominated for any Player of the Month awards.
Indeed, at the start of every calendar month we look back on who performed well in the few weeks prior and many will have their say as to who they felt stood out.
Certainly, then, that is what Whoscored have been doing recently and they have decided that Luke Freeman is their Player of the Month for September – via their Twitter account:

Based on their player scoring system, it’s clear that the QPR star has carried on his good form from August this year – even if the R’s did not always get the results they wanted in the league.
For sure, the team itself has dropped away a bit from the play-off positions but with this reveal in mind their fans might feel as though they can get back up there with Freeman about.
Certainly, he’s looking a real talent right now and will be wanting to get into the Premier League as soon as he can to showcase that.
Freeman has started in superb form this season and looks as though he could be an early contender for the Championship Player of the Year.
For sure, he’ll need to ensure that the R’s are near the top spots in the league to really have a chance but if he can do that then he’s got a real shout.
