Ebere Eze was one of several Championship players to be named in FIFA 20's Ultimate Team, EFL Team of the Season so far.

The 21-year-old is QPR's sole representative in the recent TOTSSF by EA, as they looks to give wanting football fans something to pass the time.

Players from all three tiers of the Football League are present, with Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips boasting the highest rating of 92.

Aleksandar Mitrovic follows closely behind with a 91 rated card, followed by Matheus Pereira, Said Benrahma, and finally Eze as an 88-rated card.

After the news was released, Eze shared this tweet:

QPR fans haven't had a player like Eze in years - not since the days of Adel Taarabt. He is a truly special player and one who not only looks set to play in the Premier League, but also to play on the international stage one day as well.

Be that with England or Nigeria, Eze is destined for a prolonged future in the game, and he'll look back on this season - Mark Warburton's first at QPR - as his breakthrough.

The ex-Brentford boss has instilled a new work ethic into Eze which wasn't there last season. It's transformed him into one, if not the best young prospect in the EFL today.

The verdict

Those ratings seem about right - Phillips and Mitrovic have had outstanding seasons and whilst Eze has as well, there's been times where Eze has just gone completely missing.

He looked as though he was falling off towards New Year but has since returned back to his best form, and QPR will be very lucky to keep hold him of him for much longer.
