Much of Queens Park Ranger's shortcomings this term have been down to the team's leaky backline, with the west London side having conceded a worrying 37 goals already this season.
R's boss Mark Warburton will surely be seeking for his side to address this worrying trend and it seems they have taken one step in the right direction of late, with the club recording their first clean sheet of the campaign during a long overdue 2-0 win over Preston North End.
Despite this defensively sound performance, the R's are unsurprisingly looking to strengthen their backline in the upcoming January transfer window, particularly as they are currently four points off the play-off spots.

As reported by the Telegraph, AFC Wimbledon defender Paul Osew is said to have been watched by the club's scouts in recent weeks, with the R's said to be eyeing a winter move for the 19-year-old starlet.
Osew has been in fine form for the Dons since breaking through to the first team after coming through the youth ranks last term, making 10 appearances at left wing back, whilst registering one goal and one assist throughout his bright showings in League One.
The youngster has really impressed under Glyn Hodges and will surely be looking to continue his fine form over the coming months as the League One side seek to move up the league table.
The Verdict
This would certainly be a signing for the future as far as QPR are concerned, with Osew having only just broken through at Football League level after progressing through Wimbledon's academy system.
With Ryan Manning performing well at full back and Lee Wallace seemingly seen as more of a centre half by Warburton, Osew would in theory provide some good competition for the left wing back slot.
It remains to be seen whether a move will come to fruition for Osew, however it is certainly one Wimbledon would surely be open too, given the fact that they possess a paltry playing budget in comparison to their League One rivals.
