Queens Park Rangers are aiming to sign a new striker before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, as per a recent report by West London Sport.
The R’s have had a solid start to the campaign under Mark Warburton and will now be seeking to add to their current side before the window slams shut on Tuesday evening.
Warburton and director of football Les Ferdinand are said to be keen on signing Andre Gray on loan from Watford in order to address the lack of pace that they have in the final third.
Gray is no stranger to Warburton having played under him at Brentford and could well be keen to link up with his former boss at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium moving forwards.

Watford are said to be open to allowing the 30-year-old to leave, which means the possibility of him moving on before the deadline has only increased in recent weeks.
This would be a very clever move for the R’s to make as they would be bringing in a player who knows the Sky Bet Championship like the back of his hand.
Gray offers something entirely different to their other striking options and would fit into the way Warburton wants his side to play well.
He is keen to play first team football and simply won’t get that if he chooses to stay at Vicarage Road, so therefore a move to West London seemingly suits all parties involved in the deal.
The former Luton Town striker would certainly be a good partner for the likes of Lyndon Dykes or Charlie Austin up top and it would arguably only improve the club’s chances of making a concerted effort to make the play-offs or even hit the automatic promotion places this season after what has been a great start to the campaign.
