According to West London Sport, Queens Park Rangers are looking at midfielder Charlie Owens.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Charlie Owens is currently undergoing a trial with Queens Park Rangers as he looks to earn a contract.
Charlie Owens joins fellow Tottenham Hotspur academy team mate Aramide Oteh at Queens Park Rangers.
Oteh – a striker – is currently on a work experience loan with QPR’s youth side.
Owens is a central midfielder who has graduated from being a regular in the under-18 side to playing for the under-21 team at Tottenham.
The 19-year-old is known for his good range of passing and his tidy midfield displays but it appears that Tottenham will not offer him a contract renewal.
That might be why he is on trial at Queens Park Rangers and looking to earn a deal with the West London outfit.
Owens has been with Tottenham since 2014 but his time in North London might be coming to an end, with QPR assessing his credentials.
QPR fans – what do you think of this? Would you sign Owens? Would he be a first team option next season or would he have to wait for his chance in the youth sides? Let us know in the comments below…
