Grimsby Town have released their new kits for the upcoming season, home away and a third kit too.

They've gone with a modern twist on the home kit, always black and white but certainly pleasing on the eye. The away kit is blue with red stitching, a unique take on the alternative kit.

Their third kit is provoking plenty of response but, much like the first two, it's gone down a storm. It's pink, vibrant and eye-catching but it might also look a little familiar.

That's because it is; Queens Park Rangers wore the same kit last season, albeit with the little details changed. The modern age sees lots of clubs take kits from stock and add their own touches, in this instance Grimsby have added three fish to the home shirt and a 'We Are Town' motif as well.

It might be a familiar kit to some, but there is little doubting the fan response; their praise for the club's choices has been effusive and immediate.

On the field they've added former Lincoln striker Matt Green to a promising looking squad, but off the pitch, it seems they've bagged a goal of their own with these popular designs.

Here is a selection of the supporter's comments following the release.
