The authorities at Queens Park Rangers are reportedly already considering a change of manager at Loftus Road after just 7 games, and the Times are reporting they could be set to pursue West Brom’s Tony Pulis if they decide to relieve Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink of his duties.
Pulis was reportedly in attendance at QPR’s game on Tuesday night, and wouldn’t have been impressed with what he saw as the R’s were thrashed 6-0 at home by a rampant Newcastle United, putting Hasselbaink under real scrutiny.
A number of fans left the stadium at half time, and results need to pick up quickly if the ex-Chelsea striker is to feel secure in West London.
Pulis himself is under pressure in his own job at the Hawthorns.
Takeover confusion, combined with a poor transfer window and slow start to the season, means all is not well at West Brom, and at the current time is is difficult to see how the Welshman has a long term future in the West Midlands.
This scenario could be best for both clubs, and would give QPR a man who has real experience in getting out of this division.
QPR fans…What do you think? Would you like to see Pulis in charge? Or does JFH deserve more time? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
