According to West London Sport, a trio of players turned out for Queens Park Rangers’ under 23 side on trial recently as the West London outfit run the rule over some youngsters who are about to become free agents.
QPR’s development squad faced Watford’s youth team in a clash on Friday afternoon and QPR were assessing a Tottenham midfielder, as well as full backs from Milton Keynes and Liverpool.
Charlie Owens, a technical central midfielder from Spurs, has been on trial with QPR for some time now as they weigh up whether to offer him a contract.
The 19-year-old is due to leave Tottenham at the end of this season and he is aiming to impress QPR during his trial.
As well as Charlie Owens, namesake Kris Owens from Liverpool is also on trial.
The 18-year-old plays at left back but can also play in midfield.
The other trialist was 17-year-old full back Peter Kioso from Milton Keynes.
Aramide Oteh – who is on work experience from Spurs – scored in a 3-0 win.
